About Green Bird Consulting
In 2017, we started Green Bird Consulting because we recognized that entrepreneurs and professionals didn’t just need traditional consultants—they needed someone who truly understood, firsthand, the day-to-day challenges of building and growing a business.
Business professionals and entrepreneurs are unique, and so are their needs. Teams, people, cultures, and clients make every organization different, creating distinct challenges and opportunities along the way.
We are committed to being authentic with our clients, working side by side with them, and having the difficult—sometimes uncomfortable—conversations that lead to meaningful growth. Through practical strategies and honest collaboration, we help move your business forward with confidence.
After all, is there anything better than having fun while rediscovering success?
We’re excited to connect with you.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We recognize that each company has its own unique personality, shaped by its culture, focus, processes, and goals. Because every company is different, we take a holistic approach to evaluating your business, examining all the details that make it unique.
We want to get to know you because we believe the better we know you, the better we can serve you. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with our clients and treat them like family.
Following our evaluation, we provide a comprehensive report of our findings. We bring you the good, the bad, and the ugly. More importantly, the challenges we identify come with practical recommendations for discussion and consideration.
Identifying opportunities that ensure long-term sustainability and stability—and developing actionable implementation plans—is where we excel. We focus on creating solutions tailored specifically to your company and curating development plans that align with both your operational and financial goals.
We will walk side-by-side with you throughout your company’s growth and development for as long as you need us. Our mission is to build a relationship that delivers lasting value and helps your company achieve success, whatever your goals may be.

WORK PROCESS
Description of the project
Air-Right is a thriving air-conditioning company that has grown more than 100% from 2020 to 2021. This type of growth is what all organizations dream of, but it also quickly identifies the processes and practices that are not scalable. Our role was to coach the leadership to drive additional growth and to develop a standardized process for their sales department.
Extreme growth leads to a need for scalability in the processes as well as enhanced management and leadership. As with any company that has achieved success and grown, the preliminary structures and frameworks that supported early growth have now been assessed as needing evaluation and redevelopment to address several issues necessary to ensure long-term sustainability and stability. Air-Right quickly identified they needed some assistance with gaining these efficiencies.
Our approach focuses on working closely with ownership of Air-Right to ensure that project objectives are clearly understood upon engagement, that interim results and key milestones are adhered to and met, communication remains strong from start to finish, and deliverables are being achieved. We are using a collaborative work plan that engages key employees at distinct stages in the process and will therefore build support for the final recommendations and plans as progress is made.
Our initial focus was on coaching leadership to develop their perspective on how to manage, measure, motivate, and train in a growing organization. From there, we developed the materials and manuals that define their new sales and customer-focused communications processes in order to bring the consistency needed for continued growth.
Management has already reported additional growth in the company, but more importantly a shift in the company’s culture that will help expedite and maintain healthy growth in the future.

WORK PROCESS
Description of the project
Humphrey Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning was an existing home services company that, in January of 2021, was struggling to survive. They were on the verge of being unable to pay the bills or keep their employees working. They were about to go out of business. Our role was to go in and fully overhaul the business, develop processes, train management and staff, implement new technology, and make the company profitable.
The organizational assessment identified some key opportunities for development and improvement. Management training, budgeting, financial controls, data management tools, vendor management, clearly defined and standardized processes, defining roles and expectations, and coaching for all employees were the most critical opportunities for improvement.
Our strategy focuses on working closely with representatives of the company, from the owners to the customer service representatives, to ensure that project objectives are clearly understood upon engagement, that interim results and key milestones are adhered to and met, communication remains strong from start to finish, and deliverables are being achieved. We use a collaborative work plan that engages key employees at distinct stages in the process and will therefore build support for the final recommendations and plans as progress is made.
Our initial focus was on the easy and most impactful changes, which we identified as sales training, vendor management, and implementing cost controls. From there we expanded and started defining the budget, organizational structure, expectations, defining roles, and documenting processes. We implemented new software and provided training and perspective on the existing software.
In the first 75 days, our changes resulted in more than a 350% increase in revenue year-over-year.
